Christmas!

It's finally Christmas! I love this time of year so much. I mean who doesn't? We put up a little tree in our littler apartment, and we're burnin' Christmas candles like nobody's business. :) This weekend was also the Pickleville performance. The Clark family all got together for the Pickleville dinner theater in Logan. It was such a good time. The food was excellent, and the show was hilarious. Plus it was Christmas themed, even better! Here are just a few photos. Although I didn't get many with the family darn it! I'll have to steal them from the other women demanding that I take their photos all night. :)

New Job!

So I've been applying for jobs lately in a few places, and today one paid off. I got a job at the clothing store Zumiez. (I know, random for me!) The only unfortunate part...my first day in retail will be none other than Black Friday. Oh yeah, nothing like jumping in headfirst. :) Anyways, I'm pretty excited, and just a little nervous. Nothing else new is happening. Just school school school. Can't wait for Thanksgiving in Idaho! I miss home!

A Milestone!

I'm the girl that was given an automatic potato truck. Every car I've driven or owned was automatic. So this weekend Beau decided that it was time that I learned to drive a stick shift. It is a little pathetic at nearly 18 that I don't know how. Luckily it was dark, and good old Egin wasn't too crowded at that hour. :) Conditions were ripe for learning to drive the Tracker! It took a little doing, well not THAT much. (Che' kinda taught me to drive her Mazda once.) I am proud to report that I only stalled it once..ok twice. But it's official, I can drive a manual car! 

Yeah, ok things weren't going all that great right then. :) Which makes this face acceptable. 

Good Times At VOP!

Well I'm still alive and well here in Utah. I just thought I'd post some of the photos that I've taken recently, and update a little bit. School is in full swing, and we've all pretty much settled in here at the Village on the Parkway. I'm really loving it here, and I really do think I have about the best luck in the world as far as roommates are concerned. School is a little more difficult than I anticipated, I'm afraid high school didn't quite prepare me for this! But I'm plodding along, and I actually really enjoy it. It's just something I've had to get used to. Anyways, the other night we all put on clay masks and decided to take some good photos of us all "molding." We're having a great time here, learning to cook, trying to decorate, and of course staying up way later than we ever should!

First Official Week Away!

As promised I took some photos of my room here to share with everyone. (Because I know you're all so interested!) I also have some photos of my new roommates. This week there were tons of fun activities on campus to welcome all the students back. We all went to D.I. and found a $20 family t.v., and various baseball t-shirts in the little boy's section. Which we proudly sported to the drive-in movie that night. We also went to the green out dance at the University. I'm already loving it here. There's always something fun going on!

Ariell and I rode to the University on a mattress in the back of Kassie's truck. We thought it was pretty neat-o to be riding through the city in the back of a truck on a mattress.

Here's the cute little shabby apartment. Unfortunately that is all the closet space I've been given, and things aren't fitting so well! But my bedspread that my siblings bought sure looks great. :) 

Flew The Coop!

So I'm sorry for the lack of fascinating blog posts as of late. However, I do have some interesting news to report. I flew the coop! I left home this weekend. My parents came with me to Orem, and helped me get everything settled. I must say, when they went away today I was one sad girl. It's all a little different here, but I know that I will adjust and be just fine with a little time. But at the risk of sounding so lame and sappy I do have to say how wonderful my parents are. They came and did everything they could to make sure I was all set up. Like Che' said, "mom sure does know how to send a kid to college!" I love them both so much, and I just wanted them to know how much I appreciate EVERYTHING they've done. Which is just too extensive to mention in one post. I know that this is going to be a great place for me. I am excited for this big new chapter of life. School starts Wednesday so I'll keep you posted! Oh and I'll post some photos of my new "living quarters" (ahem closet!) soon.
